Cycling in Singapore Route from Sungei Seranggoon Park Connector - Punggol Promenade Nature Walk- Punggol Promenade Point Walk- Sengkang Riverside Park- Punggol Waterway Park - Punggol Park/ Family Travelogue

We live in Compassvale Lane, Our regular cycling tour starts from Ranggung LRT, all the way down the Sengkang East Ave to the  the Sengkang East Drive.
Across is the Sungei Serangoon Park Connector.

            -entering the Park Connector, should you cycle to the right, the path will take you to Punggol Park.









We proceed though  to the left and cycle along the Sungei Serangoon (malay for Serangoon River). 

The river is located on the right. 






We pass through the  Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk
    
       In this area, Several Food and Beverage outlets at Tebing Lane, along the cycling path.
   






        The river is adjacent to Serangoon Reservoir

Continuing the cycling,  we pass through the bridge that would take you to the Lorong Halus Wetland














            - Lorong Halus wetland has a size of 18 football fields and located along the eastern bank of Serangoon reservoir

We continue to the left followed by on our right is the Sunrise Bridge

The photo above shows the path we came from.  The entrance of the bridge is on the right.

       You could opt to begin the punggol waterway route by entering to the left.
             (same photo will show later as we exit the Waterway Park on our way back)

We cross the Sunrise bridge and then sharp turn to the right  followed by another turn to the left to take you to the Punggol Promenade Nature Walk






We cycle continuously all the way down the Punggol Promenade Point Walk along the Serangoon Reservoir



Between the Punggol Promenade Nature Walk and Punggol Promenade Point Walk,
          accross is the Pulao Serangoon,( Coney island).  You could opt to visit the Coney Island Park



    We continue to cycle along the Punggol beach, Punggol Jetty that take us to  the Punggol Park Connector.

We cross the Jewel bridge






            should you opt not to cross the Jewel bridge, you could begin from here the Punggol Waterway Park tour,

Waterway Park either starts/ends from Jewel Bridge and the Lorong Halus Bridge.  Apparently, the waterway is  between the Punggol Reservoir and Serangoon Reservoir.


Once crossed the bridge we will have sharp turn to the left and cycle throughout the Punggol Park Connector all the way to the Sengkang Riverside Park.

  should you opt to cycle straight ahead once down from the Jewel bridge, you will go through the other side of the Waterway Park.

At Sengkang Riverside Park, we cycle further to the Sengkang Floating Wetland and take a 10 minute break.




















We do not end our cycling here.  We follow the path going back to the Jewel bridge.  We will not cross the bridge, we will cycle through the Waterway Park instead.

We also see on the way the fitness facilities, water play and playing sands for kids, cascading/splashing water.

Exiting the Waterway Park leads us to  the mouth of the Sunrise bridge followed by the  Lorong halus bridge, cycling all the way to the  Sungei Serangoon Park Connector and concludes to the Punggol Park.











In the video, we had skipped the Punggol Park, we took too much time taking photos. Nonetheless, above is our regular route.
